Last I looked, no one is perfect
Last I noted, we all make mistakes
Yet, we are so eager to judge others’ lives
So eager to point out the errors that everyone else makes
We may not all live the same lifestyles
We worship differently; there are so many faiths
But last I looked, judgment did not fall into our hands
It was God’s job to judge; this was a fact not up for debate
Our role in this life is to support each other
Find common ground that we all can share
There will always be differences ingrained in our hearts
But those differences still allow us to reach out and care
Before we put down even one person
Before we disapprove of the life they lead
We need to ask ourselves if we are perfect
The answer we find may shock us indeed
