I knew where I wanted to go
But the route to get there was not as clear
There was a road ahead of me
In unchartered territory, I would have to steer
At first, I was a bit unsure of myself
I admit that I was a little stressed
I wanted so much to reach for my dreams
But I was not sure of the strength that I possessed
But then I asked myself what lies ahead?
What if down that road my deepest desire does exist
If I do not venture forward on my own
How can I expect that dream to persist?
You have to look down that road
You have to take the chance and put your fear aside
