The silver lining is hard to find
We cry the tears; we feel the pain
No comforting thoughts pass through our minds
But the silver lining does not evaporate
It waits for our hearts to start to heal
And then it glistens to catch our attention
And its embrace around us we start to feel
The silver lining does not whisk away our troubles
Nor does it deliver the perfect solution
It shows us that promise and possibility still exist
And it helps us find a voice and some resolution
We start to look for that silver lining
When we know our hearts are ready to rebound

Once again fills us with hope and turns our lives around
