There are days when I understand the world

And the world understands me

Everything seems to make perfect sense

My life is where it seems it should be

But the world does not always make sense

Sometimes, I just have to hold on tight

The ride gets rough; nothing goes smoothly

Knocked off my feet; do I stay down or fight?

We are all going to face the moments

When nothing in our world makes sense

We are pushed down and dragged around

It becomes so hard to keep up the pretense

But our world will settle down again

The turbulence will end and our minds will clear

No longer wounded by doubt and confusion

We concentrate on living and not drowning in fear

Re: Making Sense

I can so relate to this poem at the moment Donna - gave me some hope that things will be OK. Thank you. Pat
