I love to watch the ocean waves
As they make their way to the beach
Sometimes they roar with an unstoppable spirit
And at times, the shoreline they barely reach
Waves are a metaphor for our lives
When we are strong, we break with determination
But when we are plagued by worry or self-doubt
We slosh in with uncertainty and hesitation
Determination gives our waves their power
It gives us the incentive to reach our goal
But we have to keep our desires in check
We do not want to create a force that is out of control
Seek to strengthen your ocean waves
Make them powerful but always kind
Then when your waves roll in at full speed
You will have both success and peace of mind
