Many of us underestimate
The power our words possess
The sentences and thoughts we utter
Can bring about destruction or success
What we put in our minds
Starts a seed growing
What our lips say aloud
Starts that action flowing
Create images in your mind
That focus on the good in your life
Do not speak of problems that might never be
This only adds unnecessary anxiety and strife
Positive thoughts can lead to positive action
We may find solutions that we never saw before
Welcome good thoughts into your heart and mind
And maybe a miracle can walk through your door

Sometimes it can be so difficult, but we must keep going and knock those negative thoughts and words from our hearts. What helps the most? Knowing that there are people in your corner that will be there for you no matter what.

I agree. Recently I have started saying power affirmations and it's doing a lot of good. Beautifully penned too.
