Life On The Off Ramp

Most Family Life Occurs Far From The Fast Lane

By Donna T. Cavanagh

Life On The Off Ramp Cover

Description:

We all rush through life so quickly, and we seldom take the opportunity to sit back and smile about the things that shape our everyday life. This book is to remind you of some of those times in your life.

Life on the Off Ramp, awarded "Finalist" in the USA Book News National Best Books 2010 contest, reflects the idea that most of us live our lives not in the fast lane, but on the off ramp where life is not quite as exciting. Our daily lives include many mundane events, but even in the most mundane events, humor abounds.

This book contains many humorous short stories mostly about family life. Some of these stories were topics in Donna's weekly newspaper column or magazine articles.

Book excerpts are available as links in the "Content" list below.
